The Southeast Pennsylvania section of AAPT is hosting their Spring Section Meeting March 9-10, 2018.    Deadline to register March 2.    Information below:

1:30-3:30    Workshops  and  Discussion Groups  

 Lab workshop:   Pasco  vs.  Vernier  -  compare hardware/software for  8  demo labs

      Ann and Carl Schmiedekamp  (Pasco)   and    Barry Feierman  (Vernier)

Discussion and Focus Groups:  SEPS will provide moderators for discussions about any of the questions below.

  • ·       How do we connect physics to the real world?
  • ·       What do you do to engage your students?
  • ·       What are your systems? (on paper and online)
  • ·       What is your curriculum sequence and why is it that way?
  • ·       Issues related to teaching  AP C  curriculum  (labs, HW, group work, exams)

2017-2018  membership dues:  $10  membership in SEPS  (independent of national AAPT)

Conference:  Member  fees  (for those who have already paid $10 dues for 2017 - 2018)
